Veneto Wine Bike Tour : a bike tour that will let you discover the fine bubbles and typical products of this territory and its of cultural heritage.
A slow experience in contact with nature, combining passion for sport with history and culture with food and wine.
Day 1: Arrival in Venice
Individual arrival and settling in the reserved accommodation in Dolo, meeting with our assistant to deliver the bicycles. Free time for individual visits. Overnight stay in B&B.
Day 2: from Venice to Megliadino (79km) – Stra-Bagnoli di Sopra-Monselice- Este-Carceri-Megliadino San Vitale
After breakfast, depart for the first stage in the direction of Stra, along the Brenta Canal and stop to visit one of the most beautiful villas on the Brenta: Villa Pisani.
After the visit is over, you will cycle along the Bacchiglione River through secondary roads through the low Paduan countryside until you reach the Dominio di Bagnoli, famous for the production of DOCG Friularo di Bagnoli wine. Here you will have a tasting. Continue to Este, with its medieval walls and castle, and then to Carceri, with its thousand-year-old Abbey. Overnight stay in Megliadino San Vitale.
Day 3: from Megliadino San Vitale to Soave (72km) > Montagnana-Merlara -Adige
You will cycle to Montagnana, the walled city, in which we recommend a stop to taste its renowned Prosciutto crudo DOP. You will continue to Merlara, famous for the production of its namesake DOC wine, pedaling along the Adige River. You will arrive in Soave, orange flag of the Italian Touring Club and land of numerous DOCG and DOC wines, where there will be a chance to visit the famous Scaliger castle. Tasting at a renowned agricultural estate.
Overnight stay in B&B. (Hint: small detour to Cologna Veneta, famous for its almonds)
Day 4: Soave to Longa di Schiavon (52 km) > Vicenza-Sandrigo-Breganze-Longa di Schiavon
Following the B20 route, you will arrive in Vicenza, the city of Palladio. You can immerse yourself in art and visit, for example, the Villa Capra, known as La Rotonda (1km south) and the Teatro Olimpico, both designed by Palladio. From the historic center, continue north along Route I2 and you will reach Sandrigo, where a stop is strongly recommended because of the presence of the Confraternita del baccalà (Brotherhood of Codfish). In this area all restaurants offer Vicenza-style cod accompanied by the wines Vespaiolo and Torcolato di Breganze, Durello dei Monti Lessini or the Tocai Rosso dei Colli Berici. Tasting at the winery of a local winery.
Overnight stay in Longa di Schiavon.
Day 5: from Longa di Schiavon to Valdobbiadene (55km)> Marostica-Bassano del Grappa-Asolo-Maser-Valdobbiadene
Today will be a high alcohol stage! In Schiavon you will find the Poli Distillery, where you will be able to visit the distillation room, still done artisanally with the ancient steam still. You will continue to the cellars where the grappa rests in about 4,000 barriques. You will pedal to Marostica, a town known for its production of high-quality cherries. Passing through Bassano del Grappa you will approach the lands of prosecco. Bassano is home to the interesting Grappa Museum, which is worth a visit, and the famous Ponte degli Alpini bridge. You will continue on to Asolo, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The taverns in the area offer plenty of wines, such as Prosecco Superiore, Torchiato di Fregona and Refrontolo Passito. From here you will reach Maser, in whose vicinity is located the Temple of Canova. Finally you will arrive in Valdobbiadene, home of Prosecco. Tasting at a winery.

Day 6: Valdobbiadene to Casale sul Sile (71km)> Montebelluna-Treviso-Casale sul Sile
Valdobbiadene is full of osterias and farms scattered along the slopes of its hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Osteria Senz’Oste is a place where you can enjoy a glass of prosecco while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views, only by leaving an offering. Continue on to Montebelluna until you reach Treviso, which is a fortified city, rich in history and crossed by the Sile River. It is the Sile that will lead you to your next scheduled stop in Casale sul Sile.

Day 7: Casale sul Sile to Dolo (78km + 13km boat ride) > Jesolo-Cavallino-Punta Sabbioni
Today the last leg will take us pedaling to the mouth of the Sile River, which ends in the Venetian Lagoon. You will pedal a long way to Jesolo, passing through Cavallino to Punta Sabbioni, accompanied by views of the lagoon environment. From here you will take a boat to Lido and then a ferry boat to Venice. You will cross the Ponte della Libertà bridge to return to Dolo. For your last evening possibility of tasting DOC wines from the Riviera del Brenta.Overnight stay.
Day 8: Departure
Breakfast. Individual return. End of services.
