Explore the Heart of the Dolomites: E-Bike Tour through Val di Fassa and Val di Fiemme
Experience an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where towering vertical rock faces meet the deep green of ancient coniferous forests.

This guided e-bike tour is designed for those who want to combine the thrill of a sporting challenge with the pleasure of slow travel. Thanks to modern E-MTBs and the use of ski lifts, we will tackle legendary elevation gains with maximum fun and minimum stress.

We will ride along the best trails of Val di Fassa and Val di Fiemme, crossing alpine pastures dotted with historic malghe (mountain huts). Here, the scent of freshly baked strudel and warm Ladin hospitality will turn every stop into a magical moment. From the limestone labyrinths of the Latemar to the enchanting Paneveggio Deer Park, every stage is a journey into pure nature. Join our group for a two-wheeled adventure that blends sport, breathtaking panoramas, and authentic mountain flavors.

Day 1: Welcome to Val di Fassa
Arrival, Briefing, and Dinner
Your adventure begins with hotel check-in. In the late afternoon, we’ll hold a technical briefing with our expert cycling guide to meet the group and review the route details. The evening continues with a traditional dinner to discover the unique Ladin cuisine.

Day 2: The Heart of the Dolomites – Val Duron and Val Contrin
Distance: 25-30 km | Elevation Gain: Moderate
Our first day in the saddle is dedicated to a warm-up among the stone giants. We will explore Val Duron or the picturesque Val Contrin, cycling on forest roads surrounded by lush greenery.

Highlight: A traditional lunch at Malga Lino Brach or Malga Contrin, where the aroma of local mountain cheese and traditional hospitality will make you feel right at home.

Day 3: The Majestic Sassolungo and Zallinger Refuge
Distance: 40 km | Elevation Gain: 900 m (assisted by lifts)
A panoramic bike tour at the foot of the vertical walls of Sassolungo. We’ll gain altitude using the lifts to enjoy stunning views without excessive effort, reaching the Zallinger Refuge, a hidden gem of South Tyrol.

Gourmet Stop: Don’t miss a tasting of Apple Strudel or Sacher cake paired with a refreshing Schiwasser (raspberry and lemon mountain drink).

The Route: We continue through the bucolic Val Duron with a break at Rifugio Micheluzzi.

Day 4: The Latemar and King Laurin’s Labyrinth
Distance: 45 km | Elevation Gain: 800 m
Starting from Val di Fiemme, we embark on a legendary tour. We’ll cross the beautiful Latemar basin, riding in the shadow of the Roda di Vael through dense woods.

Fun Fact: The trail winds through the magical “Labyrinth of Legends” dedicated to the mythical King Laurin.

Stop: Lunch at Malga Antermont to savor genuine local products before returning to Val di Fassa.

Day 5: Paneveggio Park and the Forest of Violins
Distance: 50 km | Elevation Gain: 1,100 m
A grand finale between Moena and the Lusia Pass. We’ll climb a scenic forest road to reach Rifugio Lusia (highly recommended for Ladin specialties!). The route continues toward the Paneveggio Natural Park, famous for its wild deer and “resonance firs” used to make violins.

The Return: After a stop at Malga Bocche, we’ll descend toward Predazzo and head back to Val di Fassa along the beautiful cycling path that follows the river through the woods.

Customization: Depending on the group’s skill level, we can replace one day with the SellaRonda or add an extra day for this incredible experience!

Optional: Sellaronda E-Bike Tour – The Ultimate Dolomites Pass
Distance: 58 km | Elevation Gain: 2,500 m (total with lift assistance) | Difficulty: Moderate-Advanced
The most famous cycling itinerary in the Dolomites: the Sellaronda. Using the ski lifts, we will conquer four historic mountain passes, crossing thick forests and iconic trails.

How to Get There
By Car:
Plan your trip with [Google Maps].

By Train:

Bolzano Station (Highly Recommended): Often the best choice for those arriving from the north or via high-speed trains. The bus journey to the valley is direct and very scenic.

Connection: From the station (bus terminal is 100m away), take bus line 180 (operated by AltoAdige Mobilità).

Stop: Get off at Vigo di Fassa or Pera di Fassa (San Giovanni).

Ora (Auer) Station: The closest station geographically, served mainly by regional trains and some high-speed lines during peak season.

Connection: Buses operated by SAD/AltoAdige Mobilità depart from the square in front of the station.

Special Service: On weekends in July/August, Trenitalia operates the FrecciaLink (dedicated train + bus ticket) stopping at Vigo di Fassa, just minutes from Pera.

Trento Station: Ideal for those arriving from the south via high-speed trains (Frecciarossa/Italo).

Connection: The bus terminal is only 50m from the train station. Take bus line 101 (Trentino Trasporti).

Note: The journey from Trento is generally longer than from Bolzano.

Useful Tips:

Bus Tickets: Can be purchased at station ticket offices, via apps (Mio Trentino or AltoAdige Mobilità), or on board for a small surcharge.

Val di Fassa Guest Card: If staying at a participating hotel, ask for your Guest Card, which often includes free public transport throughout the Province of Trento.

Specific Stop: Pera di Fassa is part of San Giovanni di Fassa; ensure your bus stops specifically in Pera (near the Catinaccio/Ciampedie lifts).

By Plane:

Bolzano Airport (BZO) – The Closest: Approximately 45 km (50-minute drive). It handles a limited number of seasonal and charter flights.

Treviso “Antonio Canova” Airport (TSF): Approx. 155 km (2.5 hours). A major hub for low-cost airlines (like Ryanair), making it a budget-friendly choice for visiting the Dolomites.

Venice “Marco Polo” Airport (VCE): Approx. 175 km (2 hours 45 mins). You can reach Venice Mestre station and continue by train to Trento or Bolzano.

Verona “Valerio Catullo” Airport (VRN): Approx. 195 km (2 hours 15 mins, mostly via the A22 motorway).
