No boating license is required to navigate the lagoon: the houseboats are designed for complete autonomy, perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy a new experience without complications.
Before departure, our staff provides a practical test where basic maneuvers, rules, and useful tips for safe navigation are explained. After just a few minutes of practice, you’ll feel completely at ease—it’s easier than you might think!
This adventure is suitable for everyone: all you need is the desire to try something different and enjoy the lagoon at your own pace and freedom.

- Weekend Houseboat Trip: Chioggia, Pellestrina & Venice – A Flexible Itinerary
This route is just a suggested itinerary: it can be easily personalized according to your interests, pace, and activities you want to enjoy along the lagoon. We are always available to provide all the information you need and help you build the best itinerary tailored to your preferences.
Day 1 – Chioggia → Pellestrina
Boarding in the afternoon in Chioggia. After check-in, those who wish can start sailing immediately toward Pellestrina, a typical fishing village with a relaxed atmosphere. Highlights in Pellestrina:
Untouched natural beaches
A beautiful walk along the “murazzi”, between lagoon and sea
Public moorings suitable for overnight stays
Excellent seafood restaurants with local specialties
Day 2 – Pellestrina → San Francesco del Deserto → Torcello → Burano
Enjoy the morning cycling around Pellestrina, then sail toward Venice and visit some of the most charming islands of the lagoon.
San Francesco del Deserto – A quiet, spiritual place where the Franciscan convent offers a unique atmosphere among cloisters, gardens, and terraces overlooking the lagoon. Perfect for a short but meaningful visit.
Torcello – Step back in time: peaceful streets, Byzantine ruins, the famous Devil’s Bridge, and Attila’s Throne. The island preserves an authentic charm, far from the tourist crowds of Venice.
Burano – Vibrant colors, lace-making, and romantic corners.
Sant’Erasmo Island – Explore the famous Venetian gardens by bike.
Day 3 – Burano → Murano → Venice → Chioggia
Sail toward Venice, mooring at Vignole Island. From here, a 30-minute vaporetto ride reaches Venice and Murano.
Murano – Famous worldwide for artistic glass. Don’t miss a visit to a glass furnace to watch master artisans at work.
Venice – A true open-air museum. Every calle, campo, and corner tells a story.
Must-do: Sail through St. Mark’s Basin at sunset—an unforgettable view that will stay in your heart.
Return to Chioggia in about 3 hours. Known as the “Little Venice,” Chioggia is a lively, welcoming town, perfect for a final dinner among narrow streets and local flavors. Overnight on board.
